The U.S. edition of The Guardian — known as Guardian US — was launched in September 2011 from New York City, under founding editor-in-chief Janine Gibson. It was created as the American digital operation of the British newspaper.

Bayou Blue Radio (The Voice of Jazz) was founded in France in 2016 before relocating to the United States in 2021. The station is dedicated to promoting contemporary American and European jazz while publishing in-depth editorial features and artist-focused articles on its website, bayoublueradio.org.
